I am so pleased to participate in a blog waltz to wish Claire Brennan, owner extraordinaire of Waltzingmouse Stamps, the best birthday ever. To start at the beginning of the waltz, go here. Next up is the amazing Sarah Martina.
Here's the card that I made with Claire in mind. It uses stamps from Waltzingmouse Asian Gardens.
Card Construction Details:
1. Cut cream cardstock to a little more than a 4" square.
2. Stamp tree trunk and then gorgeous leaves/flowers.
3. Emboss panel using back side of a Nestability Square die. The back side is wider and, using the Grand Calibur, got a very deep border. Love.
4. Stamp sentiment. Actually, stamped sentiment first and then tried to emboss border but did not leave enough room. Repeated 1 - 4. Lesson - emboss after the tree but before the sentiment.
5. Added pearls.
6. Cut 4.5" square card from cream cardstock and adhered panel with dimensionals.
Mood When Done = Wishing I was in Northern Ireland giving Claire a real hug, rather than a virtual one! Claire, you are the best!
