I pulled together this little bit of love after work today.
Card Construction Details:
1. Came home to find that my Mom "went to the Mall" and had her ears pierced!
2. Listened to the story. Must admit it brought tears to my eyes. "Everyone was so nice and I didn't have a panic attack and I walked really far and I love my earrings." (The holes closed up after my Mom broke her hip -- her first ear piercing was on her 75th birthday).
3. Escaped upstairs and...
4. A2 Kraft card.
5. Stamped heart from a Technique Tuesday Thank You set 12 times on 3 different scraps -- a PTI Hibiscus, some Kiwi Kiss dotted Retired SU (from the frog card the other day) and textured SU orange.
6. Punched hearts with 3/4" square punch.
7. Measured and placed hearts as shown, removing one for the sentiment (From PTI Mailbox Messages). (Last pink heart is perfectly placed but looks off due to optical
illusion caused by dimensional and camera angle.)
8. Adhered squares, some with glue dots and others with dimensionals.
10. Colored rhinestones with Orange Copic and added as shown.
11. 3 rows, 3 colors, 3 rhinestones, 3 words, sentiment at bottom third of card..stop me....
Mood When Done = Pleased as Punch
Went downstairs and reminded my Mom that she wouldn't let me get my ears pierced when I was a kid. As she put it back then "Next thing you know, you'll want a ring in your nose."
Her response? "Oh yeah, well I guess times have changed."

Oh and did you notice my new blog design? I LOVE the header, designed by VK Design Company. Check out her site -- Veronica is really nice and patient! I have some page headings at the top, which are dormant for now. But I hope to be selling some stamps and inks in the near future (that could be tomorrow or 2015!)...
