Just Love

Can I just say that the sentiment stamp is supposed to be grungy looking??  The grunge isn't my style but I love the sentiment. 

Card Construction Details:

1.  A2 Kraft card.  Seriously.  Scratch that attempt.  Fast forward about 2 hours...

2.  A2 card PTI Spring Moss found in scrap pile.

3.  Added SU Pixie Pink cardstock, die cut with a long rectangle scallop nestability.

4.  Stamped and cut out flower from October Afternoon Hometown set 5 times. (Flower has stem and leaves, they went bye bye).

5.  Added eyelets to centers of flowers.

6.  Threaded with embroidery floss in effort to be trendy.  Adhered flowers with dimensionals.

7.  Stamped sentiment from Loving Words by Ali Edwards (Technique Tuesday) in Memento Tuxedo ink.

8.  Added black dots in center of flowers and around pink cardstock.

Mood when done = bold & bright

This Says It All

Card Construction Details:

1. A2 White card (Stampin Up because I knew I wanted to cut out image on same type of paper and Papertrey is harder to cut details).

2. Stamped white SU scrap with ColorBox Fluid Chalk cat's eyes Prussian Blue ink with Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain background stamp. Cut circle with nestability. Repeat die cutting to get smaller circle.

3. Stamped bird on branch from October Afternoon's Hometown set, colored with SU markers. Re stamped several times until I rubbed stamp with eraser and then got good image.

4. Cut out bird.

5. Stamped sentiment "for being in my life" from Technique Tuesday's Loving Words by Ali Edwards in Tuxedo Memento ink on scrap. Trimmed.

6. Could not figure out what to do with sentiment. Moved it around, finally decided to cut up.

7. Wish bird was looking to right. Cannot change bird so move circle around on card. Adhere top of circle and stamp "Thank You" from same Technique Tuesday set on top of part of circle.

8. Use glue dots to adhere words to bottom of circle and then lift up circle and put tape down under the bottom of circle.

9. Look. Happy.

10. Want something else but fear ruining.

11. Add small red dots with SU marker.

12.  Give card to husband in effort to one up him.  Succeed.

Mood when done = super pleased
