How can you not like this saying??? Especially if you are raising a teenager! A teenage who [!@#^$#(*&$%^&]!!!!
The witch and the saying are from Sassy Girls by Missy B Designs. I bought them when I was buying the set designed just for Alexa to raise funds to fight childhood cancer. If you are unfamiliar with Alexa's story, you can read about it here.
This card is one of those cards that I totally love. I had so much fun making it.
How?
I stamped witchy woman and the saying with Versafine Black Onyx ink onto a vanilla shimmer paper. Let it dry a bit and then colored in the witch with Prismacolor Pencils, followed by SU markers and an aquapainter.
HINT/TIP/IT'S A GOOD THING:
If you lay down some prismacolors first, your marker will glide over the wax from the pencils and it won't dry right away, giving you lots of time to take an aquapainter and move the color around. This allowed me to add some Gable Green so that the dress on the witch would match the background I had planned. I also used it to add some brown to the hair. Too cool!
I masked the witch and made the background with Memory Box's Modern Elements, using SU Gable Green and Only Orange and an SU black marker. I know it isn't totally perfect, but hey, you want perfect, you buy a card from Hallmark!! I added some brads on top of some black squares -- that part of the card looked a little lonely.
Then -- I made slits around the broom handle and the witches legs and threaded the black ribbon under the broom and legs. It really makes the witch kind of pop off the card IRL.
Final card size -- approximately 4.5" square.
