I needed a little treat for my husband and son for Easter. We don't celebrate Easter the way we used to anymore, but I figured since I have $70,000 worth of stuff in my craft room I should be able to put together a couple of Easter things.
The first box I made is so butt ugly that I don't have the nerve to post it (oh, maybe some day when I've made something awesome to counteract the butt ugliness!!), so the super ugly one went to my husband, who aimed right for the chocolate anyway...
This one is the plain/nothing special/but not butt ugly/kind of cute, in a kindergarten kind of way, KWIM?? HA! I'm not sure my son even noticed the box, but I bet he did.
I used some lime Memory Box paper, and added some white Love & Happiness Rub Ons from Stampin Up.

Update on life for those interested:
Surprise, my mom's kidneys are fine. Frankly, we both had mixed reactions to this. She said that part of her was hoping that she was slipping away. I detest seeing her so sick and in so much pain with no known reason. She is still miserable with severe nausea and stomach pains and is in the hospital with an admitting diagnosis of "ambulatory disorder." I LOVED the sound of this -- I think I have it too -- I can't run away!! LOL
I'm glad she is in the hospital as IV Morphine literally morphs her into a different person, and it is a nicer one! Now I know where the slang morphs comes from!! Maybe they will figure out what is wrong and she can regain some quality of life. And, when my Mom is in the hospital, I get a bit of respite from the daily grind (just being honest...).
Thanks to Liz and Colleen, who sent birthday cards to her. Very kind, especially since Colleen dropped it off at the house personally. Ooh, and they were both so cute!
Oh, it is later than I thought, off to work!
