My LSS, Angela's Happy Stamper, is participating in a card drive for children in our local hospital. The drive is affiliated with Card Cupids. So I made these 4 cards for Valentine's Day for the kids.
They are big and meant to brighten up a dreary day in the hospital.
And since they won't go in the mail, I added big buttons (sewn into the cardstock) to add some texture.
Card Construction Details:
1. Assembly line: cut 4 of everything. White cardstock - 4" square and 3.75" square for the insides; black 4.25"; Pure Poppy 5" x 10" and scored at 5".
2. Stamped large heart and then the smaller one inside (the smaller hearts are pink or orange).
3. Stamped sentiment and colored in with Stampin Up markers (orange or red, depending on the card).
4. Sewed buttons.
5. Stamped the birds. Don't they look happy?
6. Adhered as shown, wrote a note in the inside.
Start to finish time for 4 cards -- 3 hours, including clean up.
