It's a bit intimidating to use one of Julie Ebersole's card as an inspiration. But I decided to just jump into the pit and post a card inspired by Julie's Let's Get Merry Red, White and Kraft Christmas card. You can see Julie's terrific card HERE.
I don't have the Hero Arts stamps and die that Julie used, but I have another Hero Arts deer and greeting. Here's my version --
Cutting out part of the deer made it easier to put him on the hills.
Wanted some texture to jazz up this cute deer -- used Bazzil textured white cardstock, Ranger White Glossy Accents, Crystal Stickles (and my fingernail to rough up the edges of the "hills" before I added the glitter. And popped up the panel with dimensionals.
Note: Stampin Up's White Craft ink and A Muse Studio's Cherry ink work very well on Kraft cardstock. The red ink stays true to color (unlike some dye inks, which turn too dark on Kraft).
MOOD WHEN DONE = That's a long story!
