Really pretty Joan! I may have to try this

I've heard that referred to as "Faux Embossing", too. That is absolutely gorgeous!

Stunning! Absolutely stunning. I love that colour, I love that card, I love everything about it. That duplex paper is so nice, with the white interior peeping out. I think it adds a great design element itself.
C'mon, dish the mistakes and false starts! Show us your feet of clay. It gives us hope that one day we, too, may be a stamper like you. :-)

Gorgeous.

Joan, this is STUNNING!!!!!!! LOVE the clean simplicity and your cleverness in layering the cheap white cardstock to get such a substantial image!

LOVE it - such a rich look to it! Love that die ;)

This technique is on my catch-up list. Love what you did with it!

Oohhhhhh. Just lovely. Thank you.

Lovely card! I love that flourish and the soft colors used.

Beautiful-simplicity at its best!

Such a pretty affect that gives layering the die!

THUD.....

Lovely card! Love the idea to use cheap cardstock for layering your image, then cut only one piece of the colored cardstock for the top! Great idea!

Just beautiful Joan!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this card! I would have never thought of doing something like this. Thank you for the inspiration. and keep taking chances -- it expands your readers' horizons with things we would never have thought of!

Absolutely fab.. the die cut looks like an expensive chipboard! :)) thanks for the idea

I love coming to visit here. Another ooooh as I see the card and then an aaaah as I get how you achieved it. thanks!

Perfection.
