No, I am not turning into a guy. However, I took one card and changed it into a card more suitable for a guy. And now I have two cards, one of which fits the bill for my son.
Here's the first card -- love this color combo (which I think would be fine for a guy without the bling, but I am not sure that the masculines in my life would agree):
To turn this card into a masculine card, I changed the colors and eliminated the heart rhinestone. I also inadvertently switched the orientation of the stripes. Otherwise, these are identical.
I really miss the bling in the second card!
MOOD WHEN DONE = Happy+
Supplies: (All A Muse Studio)
Stamps: Swanky Backgrounds and Just My Type
Ink: Blueberry, Lime, Latte, and Cranberry
Cardstock: Blueberry, Latte and Sugar
Other: A Muse Heart Twinkle Stickers (purchased before A Muse turned into A Muse Studio, but the catalog has similar heart twinkles)

Both cards are great, but I actually like the blingless one better. I surprised even myself with that comment.

Love both of your masculine cards Joan. I do like the bling on the blue one.

Fabulous cards! I really love both those colour combinations. Wonderful! How about a tiny punched red star in lieu of the blingy blue heart? I have a few shaped hand punches that would be the right size, and doubtless you do too in your faboulous new storage unit :-)
I really love the crisp feel. Gorgeous. And I like how the stripes are oriented on the second - makes the red stand out more, in my opinion.
PS I am not a news watcher, so I didn't really clue in to what the water cooler talk was about - hope things are ok. While there's a certain amount of lunacy here in my capital, it isn't the same thing at all as what you were referring to.

Love both of them. I think I'll try this with some DP.

I think the first is pretty gender-neutral, even with the bling. LOVE this layout and both color schemes, Joan!

Simple but beautiful cards...the 2nd is very good for a masculine card and I'd think the first one would be as well-- minus the bling. But I think the guys in my life would question it too..not sure why, maybe it's the shade of blue??

Two great cards Joan....for me the first one is not masculine enough but the second is perfect.

You're making me very happy that I ordered the Latte ink. That second card is just fabulous.

Second card is perfect!

I think a round gem would have worked for a manly card! Hearts are cutesy, round is round! LOL!
I like both cards...and I like the switching of the orientation of the stripes too...options!
