An easy card! And the possibilities of using up all that patterned paper in your stash. And all those sentiments gathering dust! Get moving!
Don't have the PTI Rick Rack Die? Substitute another border punch or die. Popping up the patterned paper on dimensionals takes the card up a notch (HA HA).
Since I had the supplies out, I made these as well --- all with different sentiments and ribbon treatment. Hmm...I also made one with brown patterned paper and buttons rather than ribbon. Wonder where that one is??Card Construction Details:
1. Cut patterned paper 4" x 5.25".
2. Die cut patterned paper with Rick Rack die. Set aside die cut for future use (assuming I can find it in the hoard...).
3. Trimmed patterned paper a bit and placed on an A2 white card too see where sentiment would go and stamped sentiment. (Hint: Trim paper based on height of your sentiment).
4. Punched hole in paper to left of sentiment with Japanese Screw Punch and tied ribbon.
5. Wrapped thread around ribbon and tied knot, then threaded through button and secured as shown.
6. Adhered patterned paper with dimensionals.
Mood when done = Pleased
Supplies for top card:
Stamps: Waltzingmouse Little Box Labels
Cardstock: PTI Stampers Select White
Patterned Paper: PTI Friends Til the End
Ink: PTI Ocean Tides
Other: PTI Ocean Tides Satin Ribbon, PTI Rick Rack die, embroidery thread, button, dimensionals
