I have a lot on my mind. Snow bound, worries about people in my life and I check facebook and see that Shannan Teubner's husband died. Shannan is much younger than I am and has young children and it just took my breath away. So here is a card that I hope to send to Shannan when I get her address.
Sometimes life is not easy is it?
The tree is from Waltzingmouse as is the sentiment.

Sent you an email w/her address, Joan. I can't believe it either. Your card is perfect and I'm sure she'll appreciate the thought.

I don't know about you, but in situations like these, the time and care in making a card is therapeutic. (That and hugging my dear husband, so grateful once again to have him). Thanks for sharing with us.

Beautiful sympathy design, Joan. I love that you used a soft peachy, grey and cream color combo--soothing and softly elegant.
